10Pearls is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / Principal QA Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives across Web, Mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing automation strategies, leading QA efforts across multiple projects, defining testing standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.

10Pearls is seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / Principal QA Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives across Web, Mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing automation strategies, leading QA efforts across multiple projects, defining testing standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.
This role requires strong expertise in automation frameworks, test architecture, API validation, mobile testing, CI/CD integration, and leadership of distributed QA teams.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and test strategies.
- Drive automation adoption and improve test coverage across projects.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Owners, and Development teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Define QA best practices, standards, and governance processes.
- Perform API testing, contract validation, regression, and integration testing.
- Lead mobile application testing across Android and iOS platforms.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Analyze test results, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Establish test metrics, quality KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct performance, security, and other non-functional testing coordination where required.
- Mentor QA engineers and provide technical leadership to automation teams.
- Ensure high product quality, reliability, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and production readiness reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of QA experience with at least 5+ years in Automation Testing.
- Strong experience testing Web, Mobile, and API applications.
- Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or Karate.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
- Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead QA teams and drive quality initiatives across multiple projects.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale QA transformation initiatives.
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of security testing and OWASP principles.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certifications.
- Experience in fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or other regulated domains.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and modern Quality Engineering practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems testing.
