Job Role
Seeking a Senior Software Consultant with deep expertise in Epic and healthcare integrations. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing integrations with provider clients’ Epic EHR environments. Ideal candidates bring strong engineering capability, hands-on Epic integration experience, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain software solutions integrating with client EHR systems—primarily Epic.
Lead end-to-end Epic integration efforts, including advanced configuration, interface development, data mapping, and integration testing.
Build and support Epic APIs, HL7/FHIR interfaces, and interoperability pipelines.
Collaborate with provider clients to collect requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable, secure data exchange.
Develop scalable integration components using GoLang as the primary language.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Epic interfaces and data flows.
Contribute to architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement of integration frameworks.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on Epic integrations.
Strong understanding of Epic systems (Bridges, Interconnect, Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle).
Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Epic interfaces.
Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and modern interoperability standards.
Strong programming experience, preferably with GoLang.
Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, PHI).
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and clinical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Epic certifications (Bridges, Interconnect, FHIR, or relevant modules).
Prior experience in healthcare IT, provider systems, or interoperability engineering.
Experience building scalable integration frameworks or middleware using GoLang.
