Role  
 
10Pearls is seeking a skilled Senior Test Consultant – Manual QA. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of manual testing processes across projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with client goals. You’ll utilize AI tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency, mentor junior QA team members, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage, support, and coordinate business and QA aspects of software development activities, leveraging advanced tools and technologies to enhance requirement analysis and application quality. 

•  Lead test strategy development, ensuring it aligns with the client's business objectives and incorporating modern testing methodologies and practices. 

• Research new tools and technologies including AI-based tools and evaluate their usefulness for the team/company. 

• Provide mentoring and on-the-job training for junior team members through learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions, guiding them in both technical and client-facing skills.  

• Develop, publish, and implement comprehensive Test Plans using data driven insights for optimal coverage.  

• Inform the supervisor about what resources will be required for software testing. 

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle using continuous feedback and improvement. 

• Identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies, keeping client expectations in mind. 

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for better accuracy and scalability. 

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. 

• Participate in the client meeting.  

• Participate in Manual/Automation QA Reviews for increased efficiency.  

• Participate in QA activities.  

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience 

• 3–6 years of experience in Manual QA, preferably in product-based companies 

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) 

• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing of web and/or mobile applications 

• Strong expertise in Product QA including requirement analysis and test planning, end to end feature testing, regression smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing 

• Ability to write clear, detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test reports 

• Experience in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs using defect management tools (e.g., Jira) 

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Test Automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) 

• Hands-on experience with Selenium (understanding of frameworks and test execution) 

• Strong experience in API Testing using Postman 

• Knowledge of performance and load testing using JMeter 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions 

• Understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub) 

• Strong focus on product quality, usability, and user experience 

• Ability to think from an end-user perspective and identify edge cases 

• Experience in testing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in fast-paced product environments 

• Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to clearly explain issues, risks, and quality concerns
