Role
We are looking for a Power Platform Functional Consultant with 5+ years of experience to work closely with the CTO product team and D365 development teams. This role is primarily focused on supporting and enhancing the CTO2 application, a model-driven app with an embedded canvas app built on Power Platform and Data verse, which plays a key role in the client onboarding process. The consultant will be responsible for understanding business workflows, gathering requirements, and translating them into effective Power Platform solutions.
Responsibilities
Work hands-on with model-driven apps, canvas apps, and Data verse to support and enhance business applications.
Translate business needs (especially related to client onboarding workflows) into scalable Power Platform solutions.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
Configure and manage Data verse elements such as tables, forms, relationships, views, and security roles.
Develop logic and automation using Power Automate, where applicable.
Ensure solutions are aligned with Power Platform best practices in terms of performance, maintainability, and usability.
Support solution testing, defect triaging, and coordination with QA teams and end users during UAT.
Provide input on UI/UX considerations during app design and user journey planning.
Participate in regular project or product sync-ups to report progress, highlight risks, and coordinate work.
Requirements:
5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically:
Model-driven apps
Canvas apps
Data verse
Experience working on business process applications, preferably in client onboarding or service workflows.
Familiarity with Power Automate for process automation and system integrations.
Strong understanding of data modeling, security roles, and environment configurations within Power Platform.
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Pages, or custom connectors is a plus
Exposure to Power Fx or scripting for advanced logic is nice to have
Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) on Power Platform is a plus.
Understanding of compliance and governance within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem is a plus.
Experience working on configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 Customer Experience is a plus.
Excellent understanding of Azure DevOps and Agile delivery methodologies.
Self-starter who can work individually or as part of a team.
A thinker, who can take initiative and interpret requirements without prompting.
Excellent communication skills; able to drive change effectively across a range of stakeholder groups across the organization, including at the senior partner level.
Excellent written and presentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail; consistency across written materials and reporting is key.
