Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience, ideally within the healthcare or health-tech domain. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and clinical workflows to support digital health solutions. You will work closely with internal teams, healthcare stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into compliant and scalable solutions. As a liaison between business partners and IT, you will help align healthcare operational needs, regulatory considerations, and system capabilities while fostering strong collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
Support pre-sales efforts by analyzing client requirements, healthcare workflows, regulatory considerations, and solution feasibility.
Review high-level requirements shared by healthcare clients and develop clarifying questions, assumptions, and validation points.
Assist in preparing pre-sales documentation such as requirement summaries, functional scope, and estimations.
Map and document current healthcare workflows, gaps, and pain points (e.g., EHR usage, patient intake, billing, telehealth, interoperability).
Document project requirements including KPIs, success metrics, and compliance needs.
Write healthcare-specific user stories or support TPM/PDM teams in refinement.
Create supporting artifacts including workflows, wireframes, gap analysis, functional specifications, regulatory mapping, and user guides/training material.
Ensure alignment with healthcare compliance and standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, PHIPA, GDPR (as applicable).
Analyze healthcare data and present findings to support informed decision-making.
Coordinate with design teams to develop mock-ups aligned with healthcare workflows and usability needs.
Facilitate requirements and review sessions; collaborate closely with TPMs, developers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Act as a liaison between business, clinical teams, and technical stakeholders.
Support UAT by preparing test scripts/scenarios, validating functionality, and reporting findings.
Conduct demos and prepare demo scripts tailored to clinical and business user groups.
Maintain strong documentation aligned with SDLC and Agile frameworks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline. (Software Engineering preferred)
5+ years of hands-on work experience as a Business Analyst.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Visio diagramming tools or similar software.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows (clinical, operational, billing, compliance, patient experience).
Familiarity with healthcare systems or standards such as EMR/EHR, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, HIPAA (regionally applicable)
Experience using Microsoft Visio, Draw.io, Balsamiq, Axure, or similar flowcharting and mock-up tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical
concepts effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Stakeholder management and negotiation skills for clinical and business teams.
