Role
We are looking for an energetic IT Support Intern. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in computer science/ engineering with sound understanding in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist smooth running IT operations of the assigned region, including office network, internet devices, and computer systems.
- Assist in design, development, implement, and maintain the IT infrastructure to proactively plan for future organizational growth.
- Keep record of inventory.
- Plan procurement of IT equipment and liaise with local peripheral vendors/ISP’s as and when required for IT infrastructure management.
- Working with the team hands-on, when required, to ensure continuous operations at all times.
- Help oversee timely resolution of IT support tickets raised by company employees.
- Keep close eye on information security in the organization and implement information security policies.
- Have a professional and empathetic relationships with all other organizational teams and act in alignment with organizational needs.
Requirements
- Understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of remote desktop software and tools.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with common troubleshooting techniques and tools.
- Basic understanding of endpoint security tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
