Role
Seeking an expert in Senior Test Engineer to join our team. Hands-on and be able to work Selenium with Java. Experience with Lightening Framework (custom, based on Robot Framework), Java, Groovy, and Selenium.

Responsibilities

• As a seasoned QA resource in project teams, provide expert opinion and guidance on business & quality parameters
• Demonstrate leadership within project teams to take on additional responsibilities as and when required and encourage cohesion & team building
• Proactively plan and strategies with the team on possible issues and suggest workable alternatives 
• Assist Project Manager in requirements gathering
• Devise and align test strategy w.r.t software development model Scrum, Kanban, CI/CT, etc.
• Ensure the functional and non-functional requirements of the project are met
• Deep knowledge of test automation strategies and automation principles
• Develop test automation framework, and continue to enhance and modify based on project needs
• Review test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated)
• Ensure that manual and automation test execution are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures

Requirements

• Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in CS or EE field 
• 7 - 10 years of experience in developing n-tier applications
• Hands-on with Selenium (using Java modules),
• Experience with Lightening Framework (custom, based on Robot Framework), Java, Groovy, and Selenium.
• Hands on experience with UI Testing, Performance Testing: JMeter, General Coding Question (java),API Testing, Logic building
• Troubleshoot basic issues with a Linux system and should be comfortable Backend TA, SSH & other CLI Automation.
• Ideal if their current test scripts are written in Perl
• Some bits of TA (test automation) systems are written in Python
• Good knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash or equivalent)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in the night shift (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM)
