Senior Software Consultant - PHP (WordPress + Drupal)

Role 

We are looking for a PHP Developer with expertise in WordPress and Drupal for a 3-month contractual role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in custom theme development, plugin/module customization, and website optimization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities  

• Create provided user interfaces using Html, CSS or content management systems 

• Participate in project estimation activities when required  

• Ensure that HTML/CSS is cross-browser compatible and W3C compliant  

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability  

• Must be able to integrate Html/CSS into the frameworks listed technical stack of the company  

• Must have grasp on the technical stack provided by the company  

• Ability to think critically, conduct research and creatively solve problems  

• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, stakeholders and peers, and the ability to collaborate as a team  

• Resolves and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion 

Requirements 

• 2-4 years of experience in PHP development with expertise in WordPress and Drupal. 

• Strong understanding of WordPress theme & plugin development. 

• Hands-on experience with Drupal module development and customization. 

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. 

• Experience working with MySQL databases. 

• Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques. 

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
