Role

We are seeking a seasoned VP, Stream Head Data Analytics for Functions with 15-18+ years of experience to lead the Data & Analytics function covering Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Compliance, and Risk. This is a senior leadership role driving automation, regulatory compliance, and AI-powered analytics transformation across multiple international geographies. The role will be pivotal in shaping regulatory reporting strategy, managing technology and vendor solutions, and strengthening governance and delivery frameworks across CIBG & IBG regions.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end regulatory reporting automation strategy across corporate and international banking divisions
  • Ensure compliance with all Central Bank requirements and interpret new regulatory circulars
  • Define governance frameworks and SLAs for timely, accurate reporting
  • Actively assess new regulatory circulars, interpret their impact, and drive go-forward strategies
  • Oversee design, architecture, and solutioning of regulatory reporting tools and platforms
  • Manage vendor selection, implementation, and optimization of reporting systems
  • Establish and lead Run the Bank (RTB) and Change Management teams for sustainable delivery
  • Drive adoption of modern data platforms, AI/ML toolkits, and GenAI services including LLM-powered assistants
  • Collaborate with business, compliance, risk, and technology stakeholders to co-create data-driven solutions
  • Act as a key member of the Regulatory Reporting COE committee overseeing policy development, vendor selection, use case evaluation, and project approvals
  • Drive cross-functional discussions ensuring alignment between business, risk, and technology
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and AI/ML specialists
  • Provide strategic planning for regulatory reporting automation roadmap
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning for reporting and compliance initiatives
  • Supervise program management ensuring strategic alignment and efficient execution of projects
  • Promote innovation, continuous learning, and agile delivery across teams
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and scalability across regions

Requirements:
  • 15-18+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or financial data analytics
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Significant experience enabling data transformation in the banking functions space
  • Strong expertise in Central Bank regulatory frameworks across international banking regions
  • Proven track record in regulatory technology automation, tool implementation, and vendor management
  • Experience with Core Banking Transformation programs
  • Experience leading large cross-functional RTB and Change teams
  • Strong people leadership skills - ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing analytics teams
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across Corporate, Treasury, and international banking functions
  • Ability to operate across and manage geographically distributed teams across multiple international offices
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative problem-solving across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory data lineage, and audit-readiness principles
  • Strong understanding of data quality frameworks and metadata standards
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, integrity, and accessibility standards
  • Ability to balance legacy platforms and modern cloud-based solutions simultaneously
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration, GenAI services, LLM APIs, and prompt engineering frameworks
  • Understanding of vector databases, semantic search, and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems
  • Proficiency in strategic budgeting, planning, and project management
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies
  • Familiarity with program management and ensuring strategic alignment across initiatives
  • Certifications in AI/ML, cloud platforms, or analytics tools are a plus
