We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Datacenter Automation to oversee our critical infrastructure, batch scheduling, and file transfer systems. In this role, you will ensure high availability and operational continuity for our core banking environment. You will lead business-as-usual (BAU) activities, manage incident response, and drive datacenter automation.

Role Summary – Senior Manager, Datacenter Automation
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Datacenter Automation to oversee our critical infrastructure, batch scheduling, and file transfer systems. In this role, you will ensure high availability and operational continuity for our core banking environment. You will lead business-as-usual (BAU) activities, manage incident response, and drive datacenter automation.
Key Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage, support, and optimize Job Schedulers (Automic) and Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools (GoAnywhere, Connect:Direct).
- Automation & Deployment: Design and implement automated datacenter tasks with built-in exception handling and controlled rerun capabilities. Deploy approved changes across multiple infrastructure platforms.
- Incident & Problem Management: Monitor enterprise alerts and system batches. Provide rapid impact analysis and execute rectification plans to minimize MTTR and maximize uptime.
- Data Transfer & Control: Evaluate cross-application file transfer requirements, implement optimal configurations, conduct rigorous testing, and enforce strict operational controls.
- Business Continuity & Compliance: Enforce High Availability (HA) across primary and secondary sites. Support disaster recovery testing, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure owners, application teams, and external vendors in a 24/7 shift rotation to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience: 15+ years in datacenter operations, production support, and application deployment.
- Automation Tools: Advanced knowledge of Automic Workload Automation.
- File Transfer: Expert-level skill with GoAnywhere and Connect:Direct.
- OS & Databases: Strong technical background in Windows, Unix, Oracle, and SQL platforms.
- Networking & Cloud: Solid understanding of networking concepts, administration, and cloud architecture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting capabilities, incident tracking discipline, and professional stakeholder communication.
