Role 

10Pearls is seeking an experienced Backend Developer with expertise in Java, GraphQL, and AWS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. Utilizing your deep knowledge of Java-based microservices, GraphQL API design, and AWS cloud services, you will contribute to building efficient and high-performing solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead development efforts, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle. 
 
Responsibilities 

• Support and coordinate technical and business aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis, design, and implementation of applications. 

• Serve as a principal developer in project teams, providing expert guidance on business and technical matters. 

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, fostering team cohesion and collaboration. 

• Act as a point of contact for technical issues across multiple projects and work streams. 

• Proactively plan and strategize with the team, identifying potential issues and suggesting workable alternatives. 

• Mentor technical staff, assist where needed, and lead efforts in resolving technical challenges. 

• Guide and participate in recruiting top technical talent for the team. 

• Fulfill all responsibilities of a Software Engineer. 

 
    Requirements 

• 5-7+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on backend systems. 

• Proficiency in GraphQL API design and implementation. 

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudFormation. 

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. 

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. 

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
