Staff/Senior Software Consultant - Python - Afternoon Shift

Role 

10Pearls is seeking a skilled Full-stack Developer with expertise in Python (FastAPI & Django), TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS. In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply AI/ML knowledge where applicable, mentor engineers, and contribute to building efficient, high-performing solutions 
 
Responsibilities 

• Support and coordinate technical and business aspects of software development activities, including requirement analysis, design, and implementation of applications. 

• Serve as a principal developer in project teams, providing expert guidance on business and technical matters. 

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed, fostering team cohesion and collaboration. 

• Act as a point of contact for technical issues across multiple projects and work streams. 

• Proactively plan and strategize with the team, identifying potential issues and suggesting workable alternatives. 

• Mentor technical staff, assist where needed, and lead efforts in resolving technical challenges. 

• Guide and participate in recruiting top technical talent for the team. 

Requirements 

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript (cross-functional development experience preferred). 

• Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with FastAPI for building scalable applications. 

• Databases: Proficiency in PostgreSQL with strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and query writing. 

• AI/ML Knowledge: Understanding of machine learning concepts, AI workflows, and data-driven development (practical exposure preferred). 

• Cross-Functional Skills: Ability to work across multiple technologies, adapt to diverse tech stacks, and collaborate with different teams. 

• Best Practices: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean coding, testing, and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with efficient and maintainable solutions.
