Staff/ Senior Software Consultant - Golang

Role 
We are on the look-out for Senior Developers skilled with Golang and AWS experience. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the design and development of complex features and systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.  

• Take responsibility for the overall code quality of the projects, ensuring adherence to company engineering practices, such as CI/CD and secure coding.  

• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure the technical direction aligns with business goals. 

• Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Acts as a point of contact for technical issues for specific work streams across multiple projects 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and mentees, fostering technical growth and sharing best practices. 

•  Assist in the development and improvement of team processes and workflows to enhance productivity and code quality.  

• Stay updated on new technologies and trends to continuously improve technical skill  

Requirements 

• 5+ years of experience working with Go (Golang) in a production environment.  

• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.  

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services.  

• Proficiency in working with databases (SQL & NoSQL).  

• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing.  

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).  
• Strong knowledge of concurrency patterns, memory and cpu performance optimization in Go.  
•  Experience with alteast any one cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.  
•  Knowledge of media streaming technologies, including RTP, SRTP, and WebRTC.  
•  Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.  
• Experience working with real-time communication platforms. 
• Familiarity with video/audio processing libraries (e.g., FFmpeg, GStreamer).  
• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, WebSockets.  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Exposure to security best practices related to authentication, encryption, and secure API design.
