Role
10Pearls is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team, focused on building and evolving enterprise-grade cybersecurity and AI-enabled security analytics capabilities. This engagement operates within complex enterprise environments with high assurance, scalability, performance, and security-by-design expectations. This role will partner closely with cross-functional engineering, data science, and security stakeholders to deliver high-impact product outcomes across threat intelligence, operational security platforms, and analytics-driven workflows.
The ideal candidate brings strong product ownership fundamentals, comfort working with complex enterprise software, and the ability to translate cybersecurity and threat intelligence needs into clear, prioritized backlogs. You will drive discovery, define product requirements, lead sprint execution readiness, and ensure delivery aligns with measurable customer and business value.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals and security outcomes.
Collaborate with client stakeholders, security SMEs, and internal teams to capture requirements for AI-driven security analytics, threat intelligence, and operational security platform capabilities.
Translate complex cybersecurity use cases into well-structured user stories with clear acceptance criteria and testable outcomes.
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization sessions to ensure engineering teams have clarity and readiness for execution.
Drive product discovery through stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and validation of assumptions using data and user feedback.
Partner with engineering, data science, and UX teams to define solution approaches, trade-offs, and MVP scope for iterative delivery.
Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, workflow efficiency, detection/response improvements, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure alignment across stakeholders on roadmap, scope, dependencies, and release plans, proactively managing expectations and risks.
Coordinate with QA and engineering to ensure acceptance criteria are met and releases maintain high quality, security, and performance standards.
Support go-to-production readiness by validating feature completeness, documentation needs, rollout plans, and operational handover requirements.
Monitor post-release performance and operational metrics, partnering with security stakeholders to assess detection effectiveness, workflow efficiency, and areas for iterative improvement.
Maintain product documentation, including PRDs, user journeys, release notes, and decision logs to support transparency and continuity.
Promote a strong consulting mindset by communicating clearly with client stakeholders and driving outcomes through influence and structured decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
6–10 years of experience in product ownership or product management roles within Agile environments, including demonstrated end-to-end backlog ownership in enterprise software engagements.
Proven experience owning and prioritizing backlogs for enterprise software products, preferably in cybersecurity, security analytics, or data-driven platforms.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as threat intelligence, security operations (SOC), detections, incident response, and operational security workflows.
Experience working with AI/ML or data science teams to deliver analytics-driven features, including comfort with model-driven workflows, data dependencies, and iterative experimentation.
Experience working with data-intensive, analytics-driven, or near-real-time systems where performance and detection latency are critical considerations.
Ability to write high-quality user stories, define acceptance criteria, and drive shared understanding across engineering, QA, and stakeholders.
Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Working knowledge of product and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, Figma, or equivalent platforms.
Ability to use data to drive prioritization and decisions, including defining KPIs, interpreting trends, and measuring product impact.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical and security concepts into actionable product direction.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage ambiguity, drive alignment, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced client environment.
Ability to work in the Morning Shift (9 AM onwards).
CSPO/PSPO certification is preferred, and relevant cybersecurity certifications or domain training are a plus.
