Staff Software Consultant - Golang + Vue.JS - Afternoon Shift

Role: 
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on Golang to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Golang and have good exposure in other relevant technologies such as Vue 3, Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgres. This role is critical for the development and maintenance of our robust applications and services. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design and development of complex features and systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.  

• Take responsibility for the overall code quality of the projects, ensuring adherence to company engineering practices, such as CI/CD and secure coding.  

• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure the technical direction aligns with business goals. 

• Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Acts as a point of contact for technical issues for specific work streams across multiple projects 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and mentees, fostering technical growth and sharing best practices. 

• Assist in the development and improvement of team processes and workflows to enhance productivity and code quality.  

• Stay updated on new technologies and trends to continuously improve technical skill

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related discipline. 

• 5+ years of experience working with Go (Golang) in a production environment.  

• Proficient in Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router) 

• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Typescript and modern frontend development practices 

• Understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization 

• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems.  

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. 

• Proficiency in working with databases - SQL & NoSQL preferably PostgreSQL 

• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing.  

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools. 

• Strong knowledge of concurrency patterns, memory and CPU performance optimization in Go.  

• Experience with at least any one cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.  

• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.  

• Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, WebSocket.  

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.  

• Exposure to security best practices related to authentication, encryption, and secure API design.
