Role
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help us grow our Centre of Enablement team. The successful candidate will work in an agile team environment on cloud-based enterprise applications deployed to both internal and external clients. The ideal service reliability engineer candidate is either a software engineer with a good administration background or a highly skilled system administrator with knowledge of coding and automation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for onboarding new clients and setting up their pipelines and infrastructure automation end to end
• Responsible for documentation of system configuration, processes and tools used by the team
• Ensure both release management and change management process are followed within production environments
• Have a thorough process methodology and ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
• Must have advanced level knowledge of at least two Cloud Providers AWS, GCP and Azure
• Hands on advance level experience on Docker, Kubernetes, helm charts and ArgoCD or similar
• Advance level knowledge of web servers including Nginx and Apache
• Advance knowledge of IaC using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation
• Good understanding of DevOps and GitOps practices
• Advance level scripting on Bash, Python, Powershell and/or Ruby
• Experience with capacity planning processes supporting on-premises & public cloud deployment models
• Work collaboratively with development engineering to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure through (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitLab-CI or AWS Code Pipeline)
• Develop and implement environments for quality assurance, development, etc.
• Implement DevOps with Dev team on agile delivery mode
• Deploy and Support applications on cloud environment
• Responsible for infrastructure security and making sure environments are secure, reliable and scalable
• Learning and gathering new technologies related to DevOps tools and present to the company in order to develop and grow the agile development environment
• Collaborating with developers to make sure the new environments are set up properly and ensure the best practices of DevOps are in place Designing, implementing and testing concurred upon frameworks
• Prioritizing requests from operations, development and product teams fairly while demonstrating a sense of empathy
• Should be proficient in communications both verbally and written
   

• Google Cloud Platform, Golang, Bash, cURL, Kubernetes, Docker, Github Actions, Terraform, BigQuery; Basic knowledge of HTTP/TLS
• Systems engineering or DevOps experience 
• Developing and maintaining continuous deployment pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) 
• Good knowledge of a scripting language like Powershell, Bash, Python 
• Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. Azure) 
• Solid foundation in both software and systems engineering 
• A strong desire to current on technical trends in order to suggest innovative tools and approaches to interesting problems
• Timings will be 07PM-04AM.
