Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices, and will play a key role in building, operating, and scaling reliable cloud infrastructure while improving observability, automation, and deployment processes across our platforms.
Responsibilities
• CI pipelines — design and operate Tekton (or equivalent) pipelines for build, test, lint, security scan, image publish, SBOM generation, and signing
• GitOps delivery — own the ArgoCD (or Flux) application definitions, environment overlays, and promotion flow from dev to staging to customer cluster
• Release automation — build blue-green and canary release tooling; implement automated rollback on SLO breach
• Artifact management — operate Harbor for container images, and internal PyPI / Maven / npm mirrors for air-gapped dependency management
• Supply-chain security — implement image signing (cosign/Sigstore), SBOM generation, and vulnerability scanning gates
• Air-gap packaging — produce and verify offline-installable release bundles; ensure every dependency is pre-pulled and vendored
• Developer experience — reduce build times, improve pipeline reliability, and give squads self-service access to CI/CD • Incident response — participate in on-call rotation; own pipeline and release-time incidents end to end
Requirements
• 3–5 years in DevOps or platform-engineering roles running CI/CD at scale
• Hands-on with at least one modern CI system (Tekton, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Hands-on with GitOps — ArgoCD or Flux — in a production setting
• Strong Kubernetes fundamentals — Helm, Kustomize, deployments, upgrades
• Comfortable writing automation in Bash plus one of Python or Go
• Experience with container registries (Harbor, ECR, GCR) and image signing workflows
• Working knowledge of security scanning (Trivy, Grype, Snyk) and SBOM tooling (Syft)
• Solid grasp of release patterns — blue-green, canary, feature flags, rollback Nice to Have
• Prior experience building for air-gapped or on-prem customer deployments
• Supply-chain security frameworks (SLSA, in-toto, cosign/Sigstore)
• FinOps / cost attribution for CI/CD infrastructure
• Terraform or Pulumi for CI/CD infrastructure-as-code
