About the Role
10Pearls University (10PU), the learning and innovation arm of 10Pearls, is seeking a Head of Events, Conferences & Strategic Partnerships to lead its flagship events, industry conferences, and sponsorship development initiatives. This role is central to strengthening 10PU’s reputation as a thought leader by delivering world-class conferences and forging sustainable industry partnerships. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in conference design, sponsorship acquisition, and partnership building across the corporate, technology, and education ecosystems.

Responsibilities
Brand Positioning & Community Representation
- Position 10PU as a thought leader by representing the organization at conferences, forums, and industry events.
- Lead community and outreach initiatives to amplify 10Pearls visibility and strengthen 10PU’s brand.
- Drive thought-leadership opportunities through partnerships and speaker collaborations.
- Lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of 10PU’s flagship events (AI Summits, Women Tech Quest, Hackathons, Innovation Conferences).
- Own conference PNL including budgeting, sponsorships, vendor negotiations, and ROI measurement.
- Curate impactful conference agendas, onboard keynote speakers, and ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee logistics, operations, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-quality experiences.
- Develop and execute sponsorship acquisition strategies, engaging local and global corporates, tech giants, and ecosystem players.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with professional associations, government bodies, universities, and donor agencies.
- Negotiate and close high-value sponsorships and partnership agreements that align with 10PU’s vision.
- Identify and unlock new revenue streams through innovative partnership models and co-branded initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the events and sponsorships team, fostering a culture of creativity, agility, and performance.
- Develop systems and processes for delivering scalable, repeatable, and high-impact event formats.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in event management, community engagement, or partnership roles.
- Proven success in sponsorship acquisition and partnership development.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in tech or corporate sectors preferred.
