We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the technology architecture for a new 500-bed hospital, covering healthcare system integrations, infrastructure, cloud, and information security. The role will oversee technology design, implementation, go-live, and stabilisation.

Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the technology architecture for a new 500-bed hospital, covering healthcare system integrations, infrastructure, cloud, and information security. The role will oversee technology design, implementation, go-live, and stabilisation.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the hospital’s enterprise architecture across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security.
- Lead healthcare system integrations across HIS/EHR, ERP, PACS/RIS, LIS, pharmacy, payment gateways, and medical devices using Rhapsody or equivalent integration engines.
- Establish interoperability standards, master data strategy, and integration frameworks.
- Architect hybrid cloud, data centre, networking, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Lead vendor technical evaluations, integration testing, go-live, and post-launch stabilisation.
- Mentor technical teams and maintain architecture documentation and roadmaps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of healthcare IT experience, including at least 5 years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering hospital HIS/EHR implementations and complex multi-system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Rhapsody or equivalent healthcare integration engines.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 v2, FHIR R4, DICOM, IHE, REST/SOAP APIs, and healthcare terminology standards.
- Experience with hybrid cloud, enterprise infrastructure, disaster recovery, and information security.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data protection requirements in Pakistan.
- Strong leadership, vendor management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications in TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architecture, CISSP/CISM, Rhapsody, HL7/FHIR, or ITIL.
- Greenfield hospital, JCI, or HIMSS EMRAM project experience.
- Healthcare technology experience in Pakistan or the Middle East.
- Fluency in English
